Momentum continues inside the E-Commerce Connect™ network...
We’re excited to announce that Meadows Farms Nurseries is now officially live with their e-commerce dropshipping site through E-Commerce Connect™. This marks a strong step forward as they expand beyond the garden center and into a seamless online shopping experience for their customers.

Established in 1960, with over 16 locations, Meadows Farms has built a strong reputation and loyal customer base over decades in the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland area.
With a footprint this large, stepping into e-commerce and dropshipping opens the door to serving their customers in an entirely new way.
This is a natural next step—extending their reach beyond the physical garden center and into the convenience-driven buying habits customers expect today. Now, their customers can shop a wider assortment online while still supporting a trusted, local name they’ve known for years.
Close behind them, White Oak Garden Center has also gone live this week, bringing even more energy into the network of garden centers drop shipping across the country!
Both teams are excited about what this unlocks. With access to over 10,000 products—including plants, garden décor, and more—there’s a massive assortment available. But no two garden centers will ever build the same online store. Just like their brick-and-mortar locations, each retailer curates their own mix, designs their own experience, and markets in a way that reflects their style.

Each IGC also brings a unique look and feel to their site design—from how products are merchandised to how their brand shows up online. Take a look for yourself—and if something catches your eye, consider placing an order to support a local garden center.
That’s what keeps each brand distinct. Same network, completely different execution.
This is exactly what E-Commerce Connect™ was built for—helping garden centers launch quickly, expand product offerings without added overhead, and meet customer demand in real time. With dropshipping, both teams can now offer a broader assortment without the burden of inventory, labor, or shrink.
IGCs are also getting creative in how they present this experience to their customers. Meadows Farms Nurseries brands their program as “Farmer Ships,” while White Oak Garden Center is rolling out “White Oak Delivered – Ship to Home.” It’s another example of how each garden center keeps its identity front and center, even within a shared dropshipping network.

Customers expect convenience and access, but they still want to support local.
This model delivers both. In the E-Commerce Connect™ model, the relationship always stays with the garden center. Customers purchase directly from the IGC and receive their order knowing it came from that local business. If there are any issues with quality, the customer contacts the IGC—not the supplier. The IGC then works directly with the grower or supplier to resolve the issue and secure any applicable credits or refunds. From there, the IGC reconciles with their customer, whether that’s through store credit or a full refund based on their individual online return policy.
